The VTX -24** series is a video and audio transmitter. It has 4 synthesized channel selection by means of a small rotary switch on the bottom of the aluminium casing. A DC socket is mounted in the bottom to accept 12v DC from any source. Any 12v battery can be used as well as one of our special power supplies.

In situations where the cable length is up to 15 meters, standard 6 core communications twisted wire is used between the camera and the transmitter without any losses. This is ideal for covert installations of the camera.

Although the transmitters have 4 selectable channels, care must be taken in the installation so that they are not too close together as this may cause interference between them. A 2 transmitter system should use channels 1 and 3.

Some countries limit the ERP or output power (eg 100 mWatt) and the number of channels available. In this case some thought must be given to the design of the system.
